Tyler Lockett may or may not play vs. the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday Night Football.
Thursday Night Football between the Arizona Cardinals and the Seattle Seahawks could be one of the best games of the Week 11 NFL slate. With three teams tied atop the NFC West with 6-3 records, this one between the Cardinals and the Seahawks may go a long way towards who ends up winning the division. The question is if Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett will play in it.
The Fantasy Footballers look at Lockett ’s knee injury with great intrigue entering this one. Had it been a normal week, Lockett would have missed at least Wednesday’s practice because of it, but because it is such a quick turnaround, he may have just enough rest to be able to play on Thursday night in primetime. However, you need to be ready to pivot off him in case he cannot play in.
If Lockett is healthy, you may want to start him, as the Cardinals have one of the worst pass defenses in football. We know that Seahawks No. 1 wide receiver D.K. Metcalf will be matched up with Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson on the other end, leaving ample opportunity for Seahawks receivers like Lockett to hopefully take advantage. The question is will he, though?
The Arizona Cardinals defense will give up some points to wide receivers
Lockett is listed as questionable for this game, so for all intents and purposes, it seems as though he is more likely to play than he is not. So if you feel confident about starting him, make sure he is playing for sure 90 minutes before kickoff. Should you have your doubts about him playing and want to take advantage of the Cardinals secondary, you may want to stream another receiver.
Andy Holloway feels the guy you should consider if that is the way you are leaning is with the veteran David Moore . He has been in Seattle since 2017 and knows offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer’s system well. Jason Moore believes the guy you want to pick up if Lockett cannot go is Freddie Swain , who is coming on of late in his rookie season out of Florida.
